17. Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.

18. Demonstrating practical procedures if working in education.

19. Conducting searches on identified topics relevant to the research.

20. Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.

21. Analyze and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.

22. Perform medical research to further control and cure disease.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Commercial, Technical and Legal teams to develop and implement an IP strategy that will improve sustainable competitive advantage
Function as liaison between Commercial, Technical, and Legal teams to identify, prioritize and support patent procurement, patent maintenance and patent defense activities.
Maintain competitive patent awareness including maintaining, reviewing and documenting competitive IP. Report findings to appropriate IP, Technology and Commercial teams.
Ensure that the business can operate without being encumbered by external IP by identifying non-infringement areas, or supporting the Legal team in identifying prior art for invalidity opinions or patent oppositions.
Work with Legal team to raise awareness of IP and legal issues such as secrecy agreements, copyrights, patents, etc.
